The Slaney Language Centre is located just outside Wexford town in a castle overlooking the beautiful river Slaney and the Blackstairs Mountains. This is quiet and scenic location ideal for study.
Il nome di Wexford venne dato dai Vichinghi e sviluppato successivamente dall’invasione dei Normanni nel 1169. Anticamente cinta da mura difensive, Wexford mantiene ancora qualcosa del suo antico carattere medievale, con numerosi e interessanti vicoli e stradine e un affascinante molo. Oggi Wexford e una citta cosmopolita, con una moltitudine di eclettici negozi, artigiani, hotel, rinomati ristoranti e produttori della piu squisita gastronomia artigianale.
