Course dates: Monday 17 to Friday 28 September 2018

English lessons:

We are accredited by QQI (Quality Qualification Ireland) and all our English language teachers hold a university degree and a TEFL certificate. They have many years of experience in teaching English to people whose first language is not English. Our teachers are motivated and enthusiastic. They enjoy meeting new people and helping them to improve their English language skills. Teachers and administrative staff will make you feel part of the Slaney Language family.
We use the communicative approach in all our classes. We want you to use the English language actively and to enjoy doing so. Lessons include discussions, quizzes, conversation games and more.

Extracurricular programme
:

We want you to experience as much Irish culture as possible, during these two weeks and will introduce you to Irish history, mythology and music. Our extracurricular programme includes a walk on the beautiful beach of Curracloe, a tour at the Irish National Heritage Park, a tour of a local pottery, a tour of the Dunbrody emigrant ship / Kennedy Homestead / John F. Kennedy Arboretum, an Irish dancing workshop, and a daytrip to Kilkenny, the ‘medieval capital’ of Ireland with a stop at the famous Irish pottery of Nicola Mosse.

On the last day we usually all go out for dinner at the award winning Irish restaurant Cistin Eile
