Culture Course in September,
Designed for the more mature student

These are two weeks in the year when the average age of our students increases significantly. Many of the participants who book this course are in their 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. The oldest student we have had so far was 82 years of age!

We really enjoy this programme, as we try to design the course around the needs of the group. Normally, these students like to learn something about Irish cultural and social life - to read from works of famous Irish writers, to listen to Irish traditional music in a real Irish pub, to learn a little more about Ireland’s long history and its present situation in the world.

The choice is wide and varied. But it’s really up to each group to decide the content of the programme for themselves. The level of English required will be determined by the level of the students in the group.

We also provide a wide range of activities and excursions to complement the course.

In short, we offer you two weeks which we hope will be interesting, stimulating, energising and inspiring.
