June 2012: English Language Course for the Over 30s
Do you enjoy travelling, meeting people, communicating in English and learning about different cultures? Would you like to brush up your English in an enjoyable communicative way rather than by studying textbooks?
Would you like to improve your language skills inside but also outside of the classroom through excursions and activities? If your answers are yes to these questions, this is the right course for you.
The course comprises of 40 English language lessons. We are also organising an International Lunch where students from different nationalities and our teachers will prepare a traditional dish from their home country/region.
Optional
extracurricular activities include a visit of the Irish National Heritage Park (open air museum of Irish history), a visit of the Dunbrody immigration ship, a walk on the beautiful beach of Curracloe, an Irish dancing workshop, a traditional Irish music session and an international lunch held at the Slaney Language Centre.
