Who we are
We are a small, privately run language school in South East Ireland offering tailor-made language learning for adults and families. We pride ourselves on our low student - tutor ratio. The maximum number of students in any one level group is 8 and teaching is students-centred. Our native speaking teaching team has worldwide experience in language training. Each tutor is fully qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language. Participants receive a warm welcome at the SLC and quickly gain confidence expressing themselves regardless of their level. Many students return to our school year after year.
The Slaney Language Centre is recognised by the Department of Education and Science, accredited by ACELS and a member of the Language School Association MEI RELSA.
